Tutorial9 Fan Showcase #1

Welcome to the first Tutorial9 Fan Showcase! This week, we got our fans to share what they’ve been working on in a “Show & Tell” fashion. Check out some of the submissions below!

Thanks for participating folks! It’s pretty clear that this is an event the Tutorial9 community enjoys. Sorry if we missed you this time—please come again next week to share anything new you have!

Fan Submissions

Callum Chapman: I’m working on my new site that I opened up with @BenjaminReid. It’s called The Inspiration Blog, and can be found at http://theinspirationblog.net/.

Oihana: We have just finished our own website. Hope you like it!

Kaishin: I am currently working on a personal design microblog where I basically share some of the designs and illustrations I make during my free time.

Rob Stroom: I’m busy with my personal site. It’s a kinda rough style I used. I’m working on the copywriting at the moment.

Miks: I’m working on SEO Monitoring system http://www.seo-monitor.eu. Please contact me via contact form if you have any ideas or recommendations. Thanks.

Rachel: I’m working on redesigning my website http://www.rachilli.co.uk – I’ve already redesigned my logo, and all sneak peeks can be seen here: http://www.dribbble.com/players/rachilli :)

Stephen G. Petrany: Im working on a scene of a small loaf of bread on a cutting board. It kind of explores lighting and organic objects.

Ivo: I finally found time to redesign my web design portfolio. It is based on CMS Made Simple with Cufon font replacement and few jQuery effects.

Lukas Jukna: Hello tutorial9, I’ve been working on this poster recently and finished it not long ago, everything was hand drawn, expect for writing at the bottom of poster. Made in Adobe Illustrator.

Dirk: A flyer for the winefest in my hometown göppingen, Germany.

Alberto: Hi everybody, I have finished my own website. Visit me!!! Thanks!

Gilly Rosenthol: Here’s a poster I’m working on for an old-time staged radio show. The goal is to capture the look and feel of the era through typography and color.

Jesper: Hi Tutorial9 + friends, Thanks for a great site!!! I´m working on a new online solution where graphic professionals can exchange files with clients and partners + a whole range on other cool features.

Ronan: Finally finished, over 600 layers of 20 different modified paint splatters.

Freddie: I’ve been working on a website for an LA-based business called DrinksLA. I’m building the whole thin with wordpress, and currently trying to implement some of the nicer fratures of WP 3.0.

Shaked Lipszyc: Im practicing on photo-manipulating, mostly to create full-size posters.

Stephen Parke: The American Red Cross and State Farm Insurance put together a fundraiser for disaster relief services, and I put together the site for the local event.

Josh Katherman: I just finished creating a new free WordPress theme called SketchPad, check it =] It’s 100% GPL, as are all of our themes so it’s available for any type of use!

Teela C: A little more than 7 weeks ago, I started TypeOh! Tuesdays on my blog: http://teelac.blogspot.com where I post hand drawn type I create every week. I’ve more recently started teaching myself how to write/draw blackletter, which I’ve also started a weekly posting of.

@JannesDeV: not really in progress, it’s finished and pretty fast but here you go

@danolomedia: I am working on my online #portfolio for my future presentation in #Internet. Here the visual preview.

Thanks again for participating in our very first Show and Tell! Sorry if we missed you this week. Be sure to come share again with us next time.
