Flag as inappropriateThanks for these. Can’t wait for the tutorial that goes with them too.
Flag as inappropriateVery nice icon set.
Flag as inappropriateThank you for the nice collection!
Flag as inappropriateThese will surely come in handy!
Maybe a stupid question but..:
How do you change your icons on a mac? For example, I download this icons… then what? :P
Flag as inappropriateGo to your Applications folder then:
CTRL + Click the application of the icon you want to change > In the top left, double click that icon and paste in (CTRL + V) the icon you want to be there.
Flag as inappropriateHey nice tutorial, this is a very interesting take on the traditional Adobe icons. It’s really nice to see you break away from the square box restriction and add a nice rounded metallic effect. It is very Web 2.0 which is a style I really enjoy designing for. Combining metallic and glossy effects is going that bit further to create something truly unique. Good job, you’ve inspired me to fire up Photoshop and use this idea on my next website.
Flag as inappropriateI have been waiting for this to be published. XD
I’ve seen all the comments, thanks a lot. I’ll take note of the mistakes I made.
It’s my first time creating a set of icons and making a tutorial. It’s also the first time I’ve received so many compliments in my life(only 2 on DA). All these compliments make me feel like making more.
Thanks a lot guys!
Flag as inappropriateThis is just a beginning. :)
Flag as inappropriateKeep this coming and you’ll get more fan and compliments.
Cant believe this its your First time !! good work Dalton !
Flag as inappropriatethanks for these, you have done a great job.
Flag as inappropriateNice icons, the amout of this icons around the web is so great these days that it is almost impossible to create soemthing new, so congrats to author.
Flag as inappropriateThanks!
Flag as inappropriateI’ve seen lots of Adobe icons too, and most of them had the same squarish and simple look. That’s what inspired me, also because I like designing what I use.
I think I went through 2 drafts to come up with this. So I guess it’s worth the work.
Great Icons – Thanks!
I will use it at my Desktop.
Greetings from Germany

hi…. dear… i wont to know about u .friend
Flag as inappropriateIn my opinion the perspective of the letters is wrong which makes the overall picture unnatural.
And like Blake is saying; No tutorials but just buttons?
Flag as inappropriateCome on guys :D
After all this time without tutorials, this is what you give me?!
Flag as inappropriateJust kidding, love the icons.
Would be nice if more tuts were published, though. :D
We’ll be publishing a tutorial for creating these icons as well. Wanted to get these out first.
Flag as inappropriateOkayyy.(:
Flag as inappropriateThank you for the nice collection!
Flag as inappropriateThese will surely come in handy!
They look great and professional.
Flag as inappropriateWill use it on my desktop :)
Very neat. There’s something visually distracting though. I think it may be that the center colored-circle needs to be nudged up slightly to complete that offset/foreshortened look. (The bottom of the metal frame should appear thicker than the top of the metal frame.)
Flag as inappropriateGreat icons! thanks a lot for your hard work
Flag as inappropriateReally cool icons you guys….keep up the good work. I posted these on my Resource Collection site @ http://resourcehive.com/2010/06/23/metallic-adobe-cs-icons-tutorial9/
