Looks like Tutorial9 got stumbled into last night. We’d like to welcome SU users to the Beta of Tutorial9, and give you a sneak peek of what’s in store for you in the next month!

Introducing Tutorial9 Genesis

You may have noticed that the front page has been a bit more quiet lately here on Tutorial9.net if you’ve been following us from the start. I’ll tell you right now that it’s not because we aren’t writing anything. We actually have LOTS of new tutorials ready to be published at any given moment right now…

So what’s the hold up?

We’re currently working on the finishing touches to our public launch website, which has quite a few new features. You’ll get to see everything in all of it’s glory in the coming month, but here’s a small taste of what you can expect to see.

Tutorial9 Genesis

School of Photoshop

We now have a full curriculum for brand new users to Adobe Photoshop, appropriately called the School of Photoshop. This brand new feature is packed with a structured online course that will help beginners get started, and learn everything they need to know to become a good designer.

Also, it’s completely free. No membership required. No money required. We want to open up our doors to a broader crowd, and we believe this is really going to be a great way to do just that.

Featured Tutorials

We’re going to start featuring our favorite tutorials on a regular basis to help show new visitors the kind of lessons we have to offer. We hope this will increase awareness of our high quality standards, and in turn help us build a stronger community.

Better Layout, Easier Navigation

We’ve relaid everything out on the new site to make everything read easier, and allow users to navigate Tutorial9 much more quickly. We’ve also polished things up a bit, so things certainly look more shiny than they currently do.

More Tutorials, More Authors, More everything! We’re constantly working on new ways to distribute content to our readers, and we sincerely believe you’re going to love what we have coming your way!

And what about the Forums?

We’re not being very loud about it, but our Community Forums are now open to the public. Consider it a public beta if you will, as there are still some things we’re working on. You can register for the forums today if you want to jump into the conversation!
